Information We Collect

Newsletter signup collects your email address, signup status, signup time, form location, landing-page variant, referring page, and campaign parameters when present. With measurement consent, the signup request may also include Meta browser identifiers used for conversion measurement.

Newsletter Storage and Delivery

Cloudflare D1 is the authoritative subscription database. Resend delivers the email. We use your address to send The GTME Pulse and service messages tied to the subscription. We don't sell subscriber addresses.

Analytics and Advertising Measurement

Optional measurement uses Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel. If you allow measurement, these services can receive page, referral, campaign, and signup-event data. A successful new or returning signup can also create a server-side Meta Lead event with the same event ID as the browser event so Meta can deduplicate them. Declining optional measurement doesn't block the site or newsletter signup.

Subscriber Exclusions

We may provide hashed subscriber addresses to an advertising platform to exclude current subscribers or prior leads from acquisition campaigns. The platform receives a one-way hash for matching. We don't use a subscriber exclusion list to target newsletter content or sell access to the list.

Email Measurement

Newsletter emails can include a small tracking image that records a send identifier and open time. Email clients can block this image. We use aggregate delivery and engagement data to improve the publication.

Cookies and Local Storage

The site stores your analytics choice and first-session attribution in the browser. Google and Meta can set cookies only after optional measurement is allowed. Essential signup and unsubscribe requests work without optional cookies.

Retention and Unsubscribe

We retain subscription records to honor active subscriptions, prevent unwanted resubscription, and maintain suppression history. The unsubscribe link in each newsletter changes the list status immediately. You can request deletion of the underlying record, subject to records needed for legal or suppression purposes.

Your Choices

You can decline optional measurement, unsubscribe from email, or ask to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact Rome Thorndike using the details on the About page. We respond to verified requests within 30 days.

Processors and Transfers

Cloudflare, Resend, Google, and Meta process data under their own terms and privacy policies. Their infrastructure may process data outside your region.
